Knowledge Creation
We create Knowledge that improves synergies between livelihood and nature conservation through:
- Research synthesis – we review both published and grey literature and synthesize them into readily available and easy-to-use format (e.g., policy brief, research highlight, etc.) for communities, businesses and regulators.
- Actionable research – We conduct both participatory and practical action research to co-define problems and co-design solutions for transformative change.
- Basic research – we undertake fundamental research to improve our understanding of how current resource use and production systems (e.g., timber harvesting, artisanal mining, cocoa production, etc.) impact the environment (e.g., biodiversity) and how climate change will affect these dynamics.
